    Ann

My son, who is 26, has been diagnosed with TMJ and is very depressed. He suffers from "migraine" headaches, not eating, etc. I was very relieved to see that your site exists, enabling me to learn more about this disease, and hopefully help him in any way possible. He is in the Coast Guard and has been given very strong painkillers to relieve his headaches, but the prescriptions seem to have added more misery to his life. He now has become more depressed. Is there anything other than strong painkillers that he can take to relieve his pain? Thank you very much for your help.
