    Jamie

I have been suffering with TMJ on and off for about four years. It started when I became stressed at work and unbeknownst to me, I would bite the inside of my mouth while I was asleep. I could feel the bite marks with my tongue in the morning.  The pain is constant and makes me feel very light headed. I sometimes feel that I'm going to fall over while waiting on the playground, and have to lean against something for support. I feel exhausted all the time too tired to play with my children. I just want rid of the pain. It's so good to be able to relate to other people also suffering with TMJ. I feel I am making my family's life a misery by constantly being down and in pain.  I'm sure people think I'm a hypochondriac as I'm always being told I look so well.  I only wish I felt it.
