The TMJ Community - A New Hope

Aug 13, 2010

Since we have launched our renewed efforts at the www.TMJ.org, our Facebook and Twitter pages have seen a steady increase in the numbers and variety of people visiting the site(s). It's great to see that there are new faces out there coming to us in these new ways and sharing their experiences and strength with the rest of the community.

For the last 20 years we've been so focused on those that were directly suffering: supporting them, informing them, fighting for them that we did not spend much time on the rest of the picture.

Our hope is that everyone that visits the site or our social media sites will become part of the TMJ Community.  You don't have to suffer from these disorders yourself to empathize and support those that do.  Friends, family members, co-workers and managers: everyone has a role in supporting sufferers and demanding effective research and treatments for TMJ Disorders.
